Errol Spence Jr and Terence Crawford are all set for Saturday night’s Kickoff pay-per-view headliner, both making weight today.
Spence tipped the scales at the constraint of 147 lbs, with Crawford at 146.8, formally.
The ceremonial weigh-in for the general public was held later in the afternoon in Las Vegas, despite the fact that all of the fighters had already lost weight earlier in the day.
Spence (28-0, 22 KO) and Crawford (39-0, 30 KO) will meet for the undisputed welterweight title, with Spence safeguarding his WBC, WBA, and IBF belts, and Crawford risking his WBO title.
“You know what I mean? We’re about to make history. Tomorrow, the stronger man will prevail, Crawford declared. It will be great when I become undisputed in two weight classes. By simply being who I am, I will prevail.
“It’s the ideal opportunity for me to put on the greatest act come Saturday night. I told Terence he wants to say thanks to me for getting this crap going,” Spence said. ” It’s Spence-Crawford, it ain’t Crawford-Spence.”
