Samsung has officially launched the next-generation Home Up module, integrated with One UI 7.0, delivering a significant boost in home screen customization for Galaxy users. Originally introduced during the One UI 7 Beta Program, the upgraded Home Up plugin under Good Lock is now live for public users.

The standout feature of the update is DIY Home, which removes traditional layout limitations. Galaxy users can now fully resize, reposition, and personalize apps, folders, and widgets on their home screens. Want to hide app icons under cool stickers? You can do that too — simply add a sticker, overlay it on the icon, and adjust its layer settings with ease.

Responding to user feedback, Samsung has also introduced the Home Gesture Animation tool. Known for occasional lag, One UI’s transitions have been significantly improved in this update. Users can now fine-tune their animation experience using four presets or delve into Advanced Tuning, adjusting speed, vibration, and other elements to match their preference.

The new update also gives users the option to disable the Show Favorites feature, creating a minimalist home screen ideal for those who love a clutter-free interface.

According to Samsung, Home Up is one of the top three modules being highlighted in One UI 7.0. The company plans to unveil more upgraded Good Lock plugins in the coming weeks.

With features designed for deeper personalization, improved performance, and smoother interaction, the new Home Up in One UI 7.0 sets a new benchmark for Android UI customization.
