Christopher Nolan’s film Tenet has been postponed for the third time as cinemas stay shut in the midst of spiking Covid-19 cases in the US.
Presently, Warner Bros has postponed its mid-August discharge – all the more terrible news for theater proprietors trusting the blockbuster would assist them with rescuing a touch of the normally rewarding season.
“Our goals throughout this process have been to ensure the highest odds of success for our films while also being ready to support our theater partners with new content as soon as they could safely reopen,” studio administrator Toby Emmerich said in an announcement sent to AFP.
“Unfortunately, the pandemic continues to proliferate, causing us to reevaluate our release dates,” he said. “We will share a new 2020 release date imminently for ‘Tenet.’”
Warner Bros had just pushed back the release of “Tenet” twice, from July 17 to July 31 and afterward to August 12.
