Alibaba Group Holding Limited (NYSE: BABA and HKEX: 9988, “Alibaba” or “Alibaba Group”) announced its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2020.
In the quarter ended December 31, 2020, revenue was RMB221,084 million (US$33,883 million), an increase of 37% year-over-year.
Alibaba’s revenue for the quarter ended December 31, 2020, was RMB221,084 million (US$33,883 million), an increase of 37% compared to RMB161,456 million in the same quarter of 2019. The increase was mainly driven by the robust revenue growth of our China commerce retail business, which includes the consolidation of Sun Art starting in October 2020, and the strong revenue growth of our cloud computing business. Excluding the consolidation of Sun Art, our revenue would have grown 27% year-over-year.
