The OnePlus Open is receiving several discounts in conjunction with the release of its new “Apex Edition,” with a starting price of $1,299 being one of them.
The OnePlus Open “Apex Edition,” one of the greatest foldable smartphones available right now, has been improved and is now available. Building on the groundwork established in 2023, the “Apex Edition” boasts twice as much storage, a brand-new “VIP Mode” that uses the Alert Slider to turn off the microphone and camera, and an incredibly stunning deep red color scheme. Even while Samsung and Google are releasing new products this year, the smartphone serves as a reminder of just how far ahead of its competitors, at least in North America, OnePlus was in 2023.
The enhanced device costs $1,899 plus an additional $200. Remarkably, Samsung charges the same amount for the 256GB model of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. There is a significant launch discount on the 1TB limited edition gadget as well.
The OnePlus Open “Apex Edition” is available at OnePlus.com for $1,599 when the coupon code “1TBFORLIFE” is applied at the time of purchase. From there, you have the option to trade in any device in any condition for a minimum of $100.
To celebrate, there’s also a discount on the standard OnePlus Open if you don’t want this new top-end choice.
The 512GB storage model of the OnePlus Open, which is normally priced at $1,699, will now only cost $1,399 through August 30. With any device trade-in, regardless of type or condition, you can also receive an additional $100 off, bringing the beginning price down to $1,299 in total.
A complimentary set of OnePlus Buds Pro 2, which retail for $179, will be included with every OnePlus Open purchase made through the end of the month. As an alternative, you may now receive the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro—a large, ostentatious mechanical keyboard—free of charge when you make the order.
This is all happening at the same time that OnePlus is allegedly not planning to deliver an Open 2 followup in 2024, preferring to release the device at some point in the following year.
