Happy Independence Day, Poland!
The present Doodle celebrates Poland’s Independence Day on the commemoration of the date in 1918 when the European country recovered its autonomy after longer than a hundred years of apportioned guideline.
November 11 was first seen as a festival of Polish autonomy the next year, and the date increased authority acknowledgment as a public occasion in 1937.
Portrayed in the present Doodle is the evenly striped Polish banner, which was formally embraced in its present structure in 1980.
Poland’s use of red and white follows back similar to the thirteenth century, when the shadings were utilized on the nation’s soonest archived crest.
