Pizza Hut has reported the conclusion of one more all-you-can-eat restaurant, leaving simply a handful staying around the country.
The organization prompted on Facebook: “Sadly we advise that the All You Can Eat/Dine-In component of Pizza Hut at Lake Haven will be closing in coming weeks, after 30 years of serving the people of the Central Coast and Hunter regions.
“We are very excited to announce that we will be relocating to a brand new store still within the Lake Haven Shopping Centre. The new location we will continue to offer awesome pick-up and delivery services as always.”
The organization finished the post by thanking “our loyal customers for supporting us over 30 years” and inviting customers into the store for “one last Dine-in experience”.
A significant number of those loyal customers have shared memories of dining at the store.
“How good has it been since you opened. Thank you. You catered for most of my kids birthday parties over many years and now my grandchildren. But good luck in your new store,” one commented.
“This is sad gone from Newcastle and Maitland for many years, recently discovered Lake Haven now it will be lost for ever as well,” added another.
“I remember my 16 year old son going there with all his mates after surfing all morning. They were hungry boys! He is 43 now,” one parent shared.
One customer asked for a particular date of closure, to which Pizza Hut responded: “No exact date for the last day of Dine-In as it depends on fit out of the new store. We will update here once we have a confirmed date.”
“I think we know the destination for my birthday dinner,” one customer shared.
“I’m not crying, you’re crying,” added another.
Pizza Hut Australia launched its all-you-can-eat service, otherwise called ‘The Works,’ in the mid nineties, with clients running to their local store to partake in the experience which normally incorporated numerous varieties of pizzas, a salad bar and a dessert bar.
There stay only 13 Dine-in Pizza Hut restaurants in Australia.
