An India launch for the POCO M6 5G is quickly approaching. Around 12 PM IST on December 22, 2023, it is scheduled to be announced in the region. Before its official release, however, the business hinted at the forthcoming low-cost smartphone by displaying its capacity.

On X (previously Twitter), the Chinese smartphone manufacturer posted a teaser image poster. The manufacturer hinted that the gadget would have up to 256GB of internal storage by looking at the picture. Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC is installed. The price, which will begin at little under 10,000 INR (about 120 US dollars), was also hinted at by the brand. We can predict that the 256GB version will cost more than 10,000K INR, given that the base model will start at 9,4XX INR.
From what we currently know, the low-cost phone has a tall 6.74-inch HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a maximum brightness of 600 nits, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. This device is powered by a sizable 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 18W fast charging. It is anticipated to come with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage in addition to 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM. Through a dedicated microSD card slot, storage can be increased even further.
The POCO M6 5G will have a 50-megapixel dual camera setup on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Other noteworthy features include a pre-installed custom MIUI 14 skin based on the Android 13 OS. Redmi 13C 5G, which was also just released in the area, is said to be the model under new branding for this one.
