The Billboard Music Awards is transforming into the night out for Nick Jonas and his spouse Priyanka Chopra.
Jonas will host the awards show that celebrates artists who have beaten out charts this year, and Page Six has only discovered that Chopra will show up as a moderator.
The couple most recently went to the BAFTAs in London together in April, where she amazed in a sexy ensemble by Pertegaz and Jonas looked dapper in an Armani suit.
A source told us: “Priyanka is coming to LA from working in London to help Nick with his injury and to give him support. They have limited time in LA together, so she wanted to be there to support him.” Jonas recently cracked a rib in a bike accident.
Chopra will join a list of presenters that include: Cynthia Erivo, Chelsea Handler, Dixie D’Amelio, Gabrielle Union, Henry Golding, Kathryn Hahn, Kelsea Ballerini, Lena Waithe, Leslie Odom, Jr., Lil Rel Howery, Padma Lakshmi, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Swizz Beatz, and Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson.
The awards show will be one of the first to occur live since COVID-19 vaccinations have been accessible in America.
Performers will incorporate Alicia Keys, Bad Bunny, DJ Khaled with H.E.R., Migos, Doja Cat and SZA, Duran Duran, Marshmello and The Weeknd, plus many more. K-Pop sensation BTS will debut their latest song, “Butter.”
The Weeknd, who was scandalously censured by the Grammys this year, has 16 nominations and is relied upon to win huge. Rapper Drake will bring home the Artist of the Decade Award, and Pink will be honored with the desired ICON Award by Jon Bon Jovi.
The show will air live from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
