Terrifier 3 Featured The Lost Boys Fan Favorite; First Look

Terrifier 3 has expanded its cast of former horror stars. The lead actor from the 1987 horror film The Lost Boys, Jason Patric, has joined the eagerly awaited slasher trilogy in an unspecified capacity.

“To say it’s an honor and a privilege having Jason on board is an understatement,” director Damien Leone stated in a statement that reports—the outlet that broke the casting news—obtained. “He’s one of the best actors of his generation and has a deep respect for this franchise and his craft which is why I’m thrilled for fans to see his pivotal role in the Terrifier universe.” Leone said, “It’s not every day I get to work with the star of some of my favorite films (if you know me, you know how I feel about The Lost Boys in particular), so this has been a dream come true and a very exciting collaboration to say the least.” Below is the first glimpse at Patric’s unnamed character that was also made public.

In addition to The Lost Boys, Patric’s filmography includes Rush (1991), My Sister’s Keeper (2009), Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997), The Alamo (2004), and The Losers (2010). In the second season of Fox’s sci-fi mystery series Wayward Pines, he also played Dr. Theo Yedlin.
