Last year, Ikea worked together with Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) to foster a moderate range of “gaming first” furniture. One month from now, it at long last launches in the US.
The furniture was first presented in China earlier this year and comprises of ergonomic furniture products as well as fun and functional accessories. Moderate and superior aren’t usually two terms used together, however that is the thing that Ikea and Asus are promising with this ROG range.
”We believe there’s a lot to be done to democratize the gaming experience”, says Ewa Rychert, Global Business Leader of Workspace at Ikea. “Now, we take the first step on our gaming journey, and we do it by presenting affordable, high-performing gaming products and complete solutions that we hope reflect people’s personality and taste.”
Six product families are incorporated, presented under the names Uppsel, Lanespelare, Matchspel, Gruppspel, Utespelare, and Huvudspelare. The product categories incorporate gaming desks, gaming chairs, a mouse bungee, mouse mats, CPU stand on casters, ring light and phone holder, cabinet, drawers, an insulated tumbler, cup holder, multi-functional cushion/blanket, neck pillow, and a wooden arm headphone stand.
The full range of more than 30 products is set to be accessible online and in US Ikea stores beginning in October, albeit a particular launch date still can’t seem to be uncovered. They aren’t joking with regards to offering reasonable products, with desks beginning from $159, and chairs from $129.
